Current fees and charges
We are a private billing practice and fees apply for the services we provide. The length and complexity of your appointment will determine the fee for your consultation. Our practice endeavors to identify potential costs to patients and to inform patients where there will be an out-of-pocket expense at our practice. Our reception team will give you a quote for any services that do not relate to the standard medicare schedule for your financial consent prior to your consultation.
The billing practices vary with each doctor so please speak to one of our reception team if you have any concerns about your appointment and its cost. The reception team can provide you with a detailed schedule of fees including the medicare rebate. Payment is expected at the time of the consultation and we accept Mastercard, Visa and all debit cards.
Additionally, some of our services, such as provisions of dressings and an iron infusion will incur a charge that is not rebatable by medicare. This fee covers the cost of medical consumables to provide these services.
