Recall systems are used to recall patients back to the Practice to consult a doctor to discuss a report, test or results. Usually recalls are used for clinically significant tests and results including pathology, X-ray, specialists’ correspondence and discharge summaries. Our recall system is considered an essential component of quality care and also offers an active risk management approach.
Radiology and Pathology organisations that our Practice deal with have a list of practitioners’ mobile numbers to enable them to contact the GP for urgent results outside of normal opening hours.
Our practice is committed to preventative care. Reminders are used to call patients in for preventative consultations such as immunisations, chronic disease, health assessments and other preventative health issues. You can choose to opt out of such reminders systems. Simply let our reception team or your GP know.
